Taurus Full Moon: A Beautiful Life
Enoughness is not something you earn.
It is something you remember.
Brené Brown

The Full Moon on October 26, 2026, at 2° Taurus
stimulates our desire for comfort and a beautiful life, accompanied by a mounting pressure around what blocks our experience of this.
Looking toward the future, we are facing truths about what is not working or will no longer work moving forward. There may be a tough and necessary decision, that we are not to rush, but will need to be made over the course of November.
We are to pause and take a step back to re-evaluate choices around how we operate. We may see beliefs or habits in a new light; within this, it will become apparent what needs adjusting. There are choices to make before the end of the year in how we honor and allocate our resources of time, energy, and money.
Resistance to implementing changes may be strong and we may need a way to work with fears that surface around scarcity or potential catastrophic scenarios that we envision. Let us not give into a false sense of urgency and make impulsive or rash decisions, but allow ourselves time to through the stages of discovery and weighing of alternatives before altering a life habits, investment or commitment.

Full Moons mark the peak of the lunar cycle. There is a momentum and pressure that comes to a head and is experienced as crisis, clarity or breakthrough which can lead to resolution. The two weeks following a Full Moon, we complete the month's journey and distilling the wisdom of the recent lunar cycle, so we are ready for the invitation that is presented with the next New Moon.
The house where 2° Taurus resides in our natal chart indicates the area of life where we are looking to enact a fundamental change around an approach, belief or practice so that life feels more beautiful and enough.
The house where Scorpio is in our natal chart is where the Venus and Mercury Retrogrades are shedding light on root truths or secrets that have been hidden from us. In honoring what surfaces, there is a tough decision we will make in how we allocate and work with our resources (time, money and energy). This is especially true if how we use our resources is intertwined with an agreement to another (i.e., owing money to someone, sharing housing expenses, partnering in a business venture..)

Scarcity, Abundance and Having Enough
The Full Moon occurs while both Venus and Mercury are Retrograde. We are invited to take a step back and review what is not working, what we overlooked, or didn't see coming. With both Retrogrades in Scorpio, there are truths we are encountering we may secretly have hoped to avoid. There may be a hidden desire we can no longer avoid or set aside. Venus, leaving Scorpio and entering Libra, brings focus to areas of imbalance and disharmony in relationships that are timely to address.
The Taurus Moon brings attention to the essential, and seeing what is unnecessary or not worth attention we give it. For Taurus, life is not rocket science. People have had the same basic needs since the dawn of humanity; the building blocks of a good life are adequate food, shelter, clothing air, water, healthcare companionship, and work that allows us to make a contribution. In modern times, we may each add a couple things to this list, such as wifi, a cellphone, a car and gas.
Fears of scarcity may surface (Chiron conjunct the Taurus Moon) about how our basic needs will be met in the future. We may dwell on future scenarios that involve pandemics, natural disasters, catastrophic scenarios or a fight for survival. While current circumstances are real and may warrant our attention, the deep feelings that surface may be tied to unresolved emotion tied to events in our childhood or earlier in life that created a crisis around how to have our needs met. Past experience of lack, or a repeated pattern around not having needs met, can exacerbate our response to current considerations. Patterns of never feeling enough or having enough are showing themselves so we can shift our beliefs and experience around enoughness.
We are reminded to ground ourselves in the rhythm of our body and in nature. It is all too easy to take for granted the bounty of the earth and what it freely offers: air, water, food and unfathomable beauty. To discern the choices that are to be made, we can begin by feeling gratitude for the abundance of what the earth naturally provides. We become oriented to the fullness of a moment or day when we savor the flavors of a meal, drink in the pinks and oranges of a sunset, listening to the song of a bird, or feel the warmth of the sun on our face. Touching nature connects us to our humanity, the place we call home, and helps us remember what life is about.
For millennia, humanity has increasingly mined and controlled the earth’s resources. What seemed infinite is becoming depleted. Clean air is not guaranteed. Water has become a commodity. And the soil that grows our crops is increasingly saturated with pesticides. In our desire for convenience, for having what we want at our fingertips, modern culture has brought us to a crossroads.
The way have been living is not sustainable long-term as a culture, a people, or as individuals. Changes we wish to make from awarenesses we have now around this is also part of the truth-seeking Mercury and Venus Retrogrades as they dovetail with our desire for stability and security that is illuminated by the Taurus Full Moon.
.

True stability results
when presumed order and
presumed disorder are balanced.
A truly stable system expects
the unexpected, is prepared
to be disrupted, waits
to be transformed.
Tom Robbins
What is enough? Modern western culture nurtures and rewards greed. We are asked to review our beliefs around what we want for ourselves with the awareness that we share the earth’s resources of with more than nine billion people and a multitude of other life forms (Aquarian North Node square the Taurus Moon). We are to root out selfishness and entitlement around what we believe we deserve as if we operate in a silo or that the world exists solely for our benefit (Leo South Node square the Taurus Full Moon).
We are likely to feel stubborn around changes we need to make. Key beliefs or habits are being challenged. Truths that are staring us in the face require us to make adjustments in how we life. The rising cost of living may indicate we need to remove a regular expense; it may be a decision to remove an expense item like eating out, attending concerts, or what we plan on spending to celebrate the holidays. Some of us make need to make even tougher decisions around how to work with debt or coming to grips with a lifestyle we can no longer afford.
The bottom line is that we do not have the resources (time, money, energy) to stabilize all we have invested in. We are to probe activities, expenditures, and relationships that fritter away our resources, and look to secure and strengthen what is essential. In looking at the resource of time, we may need to make choices around our increasing reliance on technology, devices and AI so that it serves us without taking over too much of our life.
Choose the Future

Two Fixed T-Squares reveal our stubbornness around something we are adhering to that no longer works for us. Old habits and beliefs can die hard. It is human nature to stick with habit and what we know. It is easier to just continue as we are, and fool ourselves into believing it is creating the comfort we seek. There is a mounting tension that will compel us to act in response to a glaring truth about how our well-being is being eroded or where the ground beneath us is slowly crumbling. What made sense yesterday or a decade ago needs to be re-evaluated in response to what the future is presenting to us.
Astrological configurations are elevating our awareness; we are rising above every day concerns to see things from a broader and higher perspective. We are having insights that bridge our current way of viewing life with future paradigms we can see taking shape. The discomfort around what the future is already demanding us is being contemplated over the coming weeks as we make key decisions around beliefs, commitments, values and priorities.
Pluto and the Nodal Axis in a compelling relationship to the Full Moon.
Pluto is the transformational journey we are collectively taking. In Aquarius, Pluto presents a revolutionary departure from how we have been operating so we can embrace a new way of living. It travels through Aquarius every 250 years and calls humanity to shape society around its highest values and potential.
The North Node, also in Aquarius, operates as a North Star for the collective. Its position points us us to the area of life we are to grow and evolve.
Aquarius is the sign of community, innovation, and humanitarian efforts. Discovering and fulfilling human potential in service to the whole where all life is valued is the goal. Innovation and intellectual development in service to this ideal are fueled. Ego driven behaviors and selfishness are to be rooted out for humanity to evolve in a beneficial way.
As Pluto and the North Node interact with the Taurus Full Moon, we become uncomfortable with the recognition that we need to change something fundamental about how we operate in order to move forward.

enough is too little.

Beauty is Within Reach
Full Moon Ruler: Venus Retrograde in Libra
Conjunct the Sun, sextile Jupiter and trine Pluto
The beautiful life may seem out of reach or too much to ask for, or something we cannot hope to sustain. Contemplating it may even stir deep fears of scarcity or disappointment.
We are being called to embrace what life is offering and redefine what we want from life. It is not just about what we want to receive, but what we are willing to give in order to feel the harmony. We intimately feel the imbalances in the world, in the culture, and in our lives, and to be an agent in restoring balance, we need to discover a key belief or practice that contributes to that imbalance and make the desired correction.
The depth of our love and our desire for justice, for beauty and for love are stimulated at this time. What is not working is becoming crystal clear. Pointing out where other's actions or beliefs are aggravating the imbalance only feeds the imbalance. The challenging and rewarding work is seeing where our love has been misplaced and to take the steps to redirect it so we can feel the beauty of each day and look towards bringing that beauty into how we view the future.
Until Mid-November, Questions to Ponder
Let us reflect deeply on one or more of the following questions during this time of embracing deep truth and contemplating the future, as we look to making one or more changes that move us towards the experience of enoughness and a beautiful life:
What truth is in my face right now? And what change do I need to make to honor this truth?
What creates a beautiful life? Write a list. If there are 20 things on the list, can it be whittled down to 10. If there are 10, can it become five. Can we simplify our belief around what creates a beautiful life?
What are my fears around scarcity and how do I want to consciously work with them?
What am I attached to that fritters away my time, energy or finances?
Is there a change around finances I can make that will alleviate a fear?
What I am deeply invested in that I don’t want to change even if it is zapping my resources (time, energy or finances)?
How can I simplify my life so that I feel more comfortable on a daily basis?
If I tend to go it alone, what can I do to be connected with others or with the larger community?
If the wellbeing of all humanity mattered, would I alter some habitual way of operating?
What are long-held certainties that are being challenged and need updating?
Am I enough? Is what I have enough? What needs to shift so I feel life is enough?
After reading over this list, pick 1 to 3 of the above that you will spend more time contemplating. See how sometimes less is more, and that simplicity over complexity can yield better results.
